The design of HBR17 is inspired by the shape of B-2 stealth bomber, with attack-ready appearance. It integrates the streamlined lines and aerodynamic concepts of modern fighter aircraft, resulting in effective wind resistance reduction, higher speed and less energy consumption.

Features of HBR17 Ultra Light Road Handlebar

- Made of Toray T1000 top-grade carbon fiber material, combining with Toray T800 and M40JB to achieve perfect balance between light weight, great strength and stiffness. 

- Industry-leading Ultra light weight, only about 300g! (size 380x80mm)

- With 8mm lift design, which improves aerodynamics, handling, as well as more comfort riding position.

- Ultra light Titanium screws are used for stem (default black color, original titanium color can also be ordered).

- 3D latex mandrel technology is used which enables us to make smooth inner wall of handlebar, more even thickness and stable quality.

Higher Stiffness

The tested stiffness of Top Section of HBR17 ultra light handlebar is 180N/mm with loading 30kgs (as comparison, other brands with similar weight are around 140-150N/mm).

The tested stiffness of Drop Section of HBR17 ultra light handlebar is 60N/mm with loading 50kgs (as comparison, other brands with similar weight are around 45-50N/mm).

8mm Lift Design

With innovative 8mm lift design, it enhances aerodynamics, optimizes hand support, and delivers sharper handling with superior comfort. Compared to flat handlebars, it saves you a 10mm spacer for a sleeker, more comfortable setup!

There is 15mm flare on each side of the drop bar, that is, total 30mm on both sides. As it can be seen in following geometry chart, size 360/380/400/420mm (measured from top center to center) is with width 390/410/430/450mm measured at the drop bar. Such flare design meets ergonomics, providing better comfort and easier for rocking the bike.

Already Known Compatible Brand Frames (Base Adapter Required)

In addition to LightCarbon frames, HBR17 carbon road handlebar is also compatible with other brands of frames, including but not limited to the following brand models. Due to the different shape around top side of headtube hole, to make them perfect fit, a base adapter is required. The following picture shows some base adapter that we can supply together with our handlebar (they have to be specifically made, with upcharge). If you are using any of these brands frames, or your frame is not with standard round shape of top headtube hole, please tell us when placing orders, so we can make specific adapter to match your frames.

Bike computer mount

The default bike computer mount is made of Nylon +Short Fiber on the left. If you need the titanium alloy original color material on the right, you will need to pay extra.

The mount has been extended to fit for Gamin 1050

Finish Options For HBR17 Road Handlebar

There are two standard finish optional for HBR17 carbon handlebar: Black Matte No Logo, Black Matte With LightCarbon logo. In addition, if you have your own brand, we can also make customized decal with your brand logo.
