In Triathlon, Time Trial and Track bikes, 3-spoke, 5-spoke and full disc carbon wheels are widely used.
Compared to regular wheels, carbon spoke and full disc wheels are relatively heavier, but they are outstanding in aerodynamics and stiffness which are critical for TT/Track bikes.

A balanced depth (75-80mm) for speed-oriented riding, offering reduced drag in crosswinds compared to deeper-section wheels. Ideal for time trial, triathlon, and fast-paced road races.
The uniquely undulating depth shaped spokes disrupt airflow to minimize turbulence, enhancing overall aerodynamic performance.
