Micro Suspension System Design

Micro Suspension System

Progressive seatstay and chainstay tube shape, elastomer insert and small linkage inside form the Micro Suspension System of LightCarbon gravel frame LCE086-D.Rear seatstay and chainstay are with specific carbon lay-up design to work like leaf spring, with flex zones to enable the movement of rear stays. Elastomer insert help to absorb the shocks that comes from rear wheel. The small linkage inside are with bearings which allows the rear stays to move freely. The whole system works together to provide better comfort and compliant performance in off-road conditions.

Aero Fin Design To Hide Brake Caliper

There are also another two features in LightCarbon Gravel frame LCE086-D. One is UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger), the other is hidden front brake caliper design. As showed in above picture, the specific fork is designed with "Aero Fin" which helps to hide front brake caliper. When looking from the side of fin, front brake caliper is not visible. Such design help to reduce wind drag from brake caliper, and increase aerodynamics significantly. Besides, it also works as a protector for front brake caliper, extend its service life. Another benefit of this unique design is that it makes the fork look outstanding among common gravel forks. Better aerodynamics and more unique looking!

The default carbon gravel fork for LCE086-D is with no rivet holes on the side. Considering some riders may intend to put small luggage or bottles on the fork legs, there is also another version of gravel fork optional, that is, with 3-rivet on both sides of the fork leg. If you prefer a fork with riveted holes, please let us know when placing your order.
