LightCarbon Also Supplies Tubeless Valve
LightCarbon tubeless valves are easy to be installed and designed to be 100% compatible with all of our carbon clincher rims and carbon clincher wheels (with standard Presta valve hole). Premium alloy 7075 material is used for both the cap and valve body, which provides great strength and light weight. The tubeless valve features a 4-hole design on base for optimal airflow and full insert compatibility. This kind of Anti-Clog Side Hole Design greatly reduces possible block from dirt, debris, or rim tape sealant. The 4mm Allen key allows for easy screwing & unscrewing of the valve. Thanks to its precise internal threading and core interface, there will be a perfect seal after installation.
Valve Lengths Options:
At present, LightCarbon tubeless valve has 3 lenth options, 44mm, 60mm and 80mm. The general guide for length are as following:
Valve length 44mm: Ideal for 20mm-29mm height rims
Valve length 60mm: Ideal for 30mm-45mm height rims
Valve length 80mm: Ideal for 46mm-65mm height rims
The Golden Rule: Length Matters! The valve length should be at least 15mm longer than your rim's height.
Example: rim depth is 45mm and you need at least 45+15 = 60mm of valve stem.
Slightly longer is acceptable (and often preferable) which ensures the valve tip is easily accessible for any pump head.
Always select an valve length that exceeds your rim height by at least 15mm. Combine this with the secure M4 hex installation, and you have the perfect solution for tubeless valve with minimal hassle. Keep rolling smoothly and efficiently!
