The core of the LCR018-D geometry design lies in a precise balance between steering responsiveness, all-road stability, and long-distance comfort.

· Balanced stability and agility
The LCR018-D features a trail range of 61–68 mm, combined with a progressively tuned wheelbase. This setup delivers precise steering feedback and predictable handling on complex terrain and during quick direction changes, balancing stability on paved roads with agility on light gravel.


· Acceleration response
With a bottom bracket drop of 74–78 mm and a 415 mm chainstay length, the riding center of gravity is effectively lowered. This ensures sharp acceleration under pedaling while enhancing stability during high-speed cruising and cornering.


· Rider-friendly position

A head tube angle (HT) between 71° and 72.6°, paired with an optimized Stack/Reach ratio of approximately 1.45–1.50, creates a more natural and relaxed riding posture without sacrificing pedaling efficiency—significantly reducing strain on the lower back, shoulders, and neck during long rides.

· Max 700x38C tire clearance for broader versatility

Purpose-built as an endurance frame optimized for aerodynamic performance, the LCR018-D infuses superior wind-cheating efficiency into every meticulous detail:
1. The slim-waist head tube (narrow in the midsection and wider at both ends) minimizes frontal wind resistance, delivering aerodynamic advantages right from the front of the frame.
2. Countersunk design for the thru-axle head, ensuring the thru-axle sits perfectly flush with the frame surface when locked, creating a seamless, integrated finish.
3. The deflector plate design on the front fork enhances aerodynamic efficiency while elevating the bike’s visual aesthetics.
4. 3D sculpted edges design on front part of down tube connects more naturally and smoothly with the front fork profile, boosting aerodynamics and improve the frame’s overall aesthetics.
5. The curved profile of the seat tube allows the frame to hug the tire contour closely, reducing wind resistance while refining the bike’s aesthetic appeal.
6. Unique Eagle Eye flow-guiding design channels airflow smoothly across the frame, striking a perfect balance between aerodynamics and visual aesthetics.

The LCR018-D frame strikes a refined balance between stiffness and compliance, achieving a distinctive blend of bold aesthetics and functional performance.

The main frame structure features flat, robust tube profiles that deliver strong visual impact while ensuring excellent aerodynamic efficiency and pedaling performance. The strategically narrowed sections of the top tube and seat stays, combined with the frame’s signature “Eagle Eye” design, act like integrated “flex joints.” When encountering road vibrations, these areas allow controlled deformation to effectively absorb and disperse shocks, preventing harsh impacts from being directly transmitted to the rider.

In addition, the hollowed seatpost head design further enhances vibration damping, filtering out subtle road feedback and reducing fatigue—making long-distance rides noticeably more comfortable.

The default carbon seat post that will come with LCR018-D road frameset are with 0 offset. The top clamp on seat post is compatible with both 7x7mm alloy rail (typical round shape) saddle and 7x9mm carbon rail (typical oval shape) saddle.

Threaded T47 bottom bracket is becoming more and more popular. There are many big brands also making their new frame with T47 bottom bracket. There are mainly 3 options T47 BB to match different crankset: Inner diameter 24mm for Shimano standard crank, Inner diameter 29mm for Sram DUB crank, and inner diameter 30mm for those crank which was BB30/BB386 standard. To make it more convenient for our customers, we supply T47 BB as a paid option, Not included by default. If you want to buy BB from us together with our carbon frames, please let us know whether you need Economical or CEMA brand T47 BB (the cost are different), and which size (24/28.99/30), so we can quote you accordingly.

Assembly Instructions for LightCarbon LCR018-D Endurance Carbon Frame





Place the lower bearing onto the crown race of the fork (with the bevel facing upward), 
then insert it into the head tube of the frame.
Push the upper bearing (bevel facing downward) along the steerer tube. Place the C-ring (with its bevel facing downward) onto the bearing.



Press the handlebar base onto the C-ring.
Install 10 mm and 5 mm spacers (optional according to personal preference).
After installing the handlebar, mark the fork steerer tube and cut it to length.



Insert the star nut into the fork steerer tube, ensuring a 4–5 mm gap between the stem end face and the star nut.
Tighten the star nut to 10 Nm.
Tighten the stem top cap screw to 6 Nm.



Tighten the stem screws to 6 Nm.
Install the dust cover onto the seat post from the bottom.
Insert the rubber plug with the wrapped Di2 battery into the seat post from the bottom (the rubber plug may need to be trimmed appropriately).



First insert the seat post into the frame, then install the seat clamp, 8-10Nm.
Adjust to a suitable height according to your height, then tighten the seat clamp bolt.
Install the saddle and tighten the seat post clamp bolts to 8–10 Nm.



Tighten the bottle cage bolts to 4 Nm.
Tighten the front derailleur screws to 4 Nm. Tighten the bottle cage screws on the storage box cover to 4 Nm.



Loosen the cover handle clockwise and pull down gently to remove the cover.When installing the cover, insert it into the frame from bottom to top. 
Press the cover firmly by hand, then tighten the handle counterclockwise.
Before installing the bottom bracket, first distinguish the left and right sides. L = Left, R = Right.



Tighten to approximately 25 Nm using the professional installation tool.
Tighten the UDH derailleur hanger to approximately 20 Nm. Install the thru-axle and tighten to 10 Nm (same for front and rear).
