In Triathlon, Time Trial and Track bikes, 3-spoke, 5-spoke and full disc carbon wheels are widely used.
Compared to regular wheels, carbon spoke and full disc wheels are relatively heavier, but they are outstanding in aerodynamics and stiffness which are critical for TT/Track bikes.
